Reply Helpful chuck3rd Community Specialist 5:29 PM in response to vijr Hello vijr. The service provider (Vodafone India) app which is available on the Appstore doesn’t help with configuring the SIM. In GSM networks, the SIM Application Toolkit is defined by the GSM 11.14 standard released in 2001. The SIM Toolkit/Application is something that is on the SIM itself to configure the SIM - not something that’s on App Store. Designed as a single application environment, the STK can be started during the initial power up of the SIM card and is especially suited to low level applications with simple user interfaces. STK has been deployed by many mobile operators around the world for many applications, often where a menu-based approach is required, such as Mobile Banking and content browsing. #Sim toolkit downloadI have searched alot to download sim.toolkit and sim.access packages. Generally I am using Eclipse IDE with Java card 2.2.2 development kit, and sometimes I use Netbeans. Recently I am trying to write java card applets and to communicate with them via ME. The SIM also gives commands to the handset such as displaying menus and/or asking for user input. I am new to the subject of SIM toolkit, I have basic knowledge in java card development. This enables the SIM to build up an interactive exchange between a network application and the end user and access, or control access to, the network. The SIM Application Toolkit consists of a set of commands programmed into the SIM which define how the SIM should interact directly with the outside world and initiates commands independently of the handset and the network. ![]()
